SystemX welcomes four new partners in the MIC project (Modelling – Interoperability – Communication): SNCF (Department of Innovation and Research), software publisher Artelys, the Cosmo Company, and the IDIT (Institute of International Transport Law), who joined the 6 initial project partners.

The project is extended for six months and is to be completed in December 2016, with a total manpower of about 16 full-time staff per year (against 12 so far).

The MIC project was launched in June 2013 with a double ambition: develop tools for modeling and simulation that will allow the optimization and monitoring of multimodal transport networks (transport time, cost, energy consumption, accessibility); and develop system models to manage vehicles and transport infrastructures to improve overall network performances.
