SystemX launches the SIP project – “Standards & PLM Interoperability”

SystemX responds to the industry’s new challenges with the SIP “Standards & PLM Interoperability” project: facilitating the emergence of digital collaboration in the manufacturing industry (aeronautic, automobile, railway, etc.). To address these issues, the SIP project will develop a methodology and a test platform to accelerate the implementation of standards and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) interoperability within the entire ecosystem at a controlled cost.

The main issues addressed by the SIP project involve:

• Performance and competitiveness of large groups and subcontracting SMEs – it depends more on their ability to “connect in a successful way” to the PLM network.
• PLM interoperability – it is based on standards that are evolving rapidly and that are of increasing strategic interest for manufacturers.
